What is a CTA? And how to write one that gets used

The one thing you ask the reader to do next.

CTA stands for call to action, and it is the line where you tell somebody what to do now they have read the thing. Comment a word, grab the guide, book a call, follow for the rest of the series.

One ask, not four

Every extra option makes the decision harder, and a harder decision means people do nothing. Pick the one thing you actually want and ask for that.

Make it easy and make it worth it

The ask should cost the reader almost nothing and give them something they want. Comment a word to get the checklist works because both halves are true, and download my brochure works for nobody.

Where it goes wrong

Asking too early, before the post has given anything, or asking for a call when the reader has known you for nine seconds. Match the size of the ask to how much trust you have earned. How to turn a personal brand into actual leads walks through the ladder.
