How to turn a personal brand into actual leads

Plenty of people have ten thousand followers and no clients. Plenty of people have eight hundred followers and a full calendar. The follower number is not the business.

What sits between attention and money is a bridge, and most people never build it.

Attention leaks unless you catch it

Someone reads your post, thinks "that's good", and carries on with their day. A week later they couldn't name you. That's the normal outcome for almost everyone who sees you, and it's not their fault.

You need a way for the interested ones to identify themselves while they're still interested.

Give them something small to say yes to

Booking a call is a big yes. Asking for a checklist is a small one. Most of the people who'd eventually pay you are nowhere near ready for the big yes, and asking for it too early loses them.

So make something small and genuinely useful. The breakdown of how you did a thing, a template you actually use, a short guide that solves one problem. Then let people ask for it.

Make asking easy and make giving fast

The moment somebody raises a hand, they should get the thing quickly, and you should end up with their name and a way to reach them. If that takes you manual work every time, you'll stop doing it by week three.

This is the part Kadenza handles. Someone asks, they get it, and you get a real lead in whatever list you already use. No copying, no spreadsheet.

Talk to the warm ones, not the cold ones

Now you've got a list of people who put their hand up. That's a completely different conversation from a cold message, because they started it.

Reaching out to someone who asked you for something is normal and welcome. Reaching out to a stranger is the thing everyone's inbox is already full of.

The maths that makes this work

You don't need a big audience for this. A few hundred of the right people, with a real way for them to raise a hand, beats tens of thousands of the wrong people with no bridge at all.

Which is why chasing the follower number is usually the wrong thing to chase.
