How to research your competitors on LinkedIn (without guessing)

You already know who's winning in your space. You see their posts do numbers while yours sit at eleven views. The gap isn't talent, it's information. They're paying attention to what works and you're guessing.

Start with a short list, not everyone

Pick five to ten people who are a bit ahead of you and actually in your lane. Not the mega-accounts with a million followers, the ones one or two steps in front of you. Their audience is the audience you want, so what lands for them will probably land for you.

Look at the posts that beat their own average

A post with two thousand likes doesn't mean much on its own. What matters is whether it beat that person's normal. A post that did five times their usual is a signal, that's the shape, the hook, the topic that their audience actually wanted. Kadenza flags exactly these, so you're not scrolling a feed trying to eyeball it.

Keep the history, because that's the part nobody has

Any tool can show you a snapshot of today. The gold is the trend: is this account growing, and how fast did that one post take off. You only get that if someone recorded it every day from the start. That history is the moat, and it's why we keep it from your first day.

Hand it to your AI and let it write

Once you can see what's working, writing is the easy part. Give the pattern to the AI you already pay for, your own Claude or ChatGPT, and it writes your post with a real answer behind it instead of a blank page. That's the whole loop: watch, learn, write, repeat.
