Kleo alternatives for LinkedIn growth: which one fits you?

Paper cut-out of a round table with three chairs and cups seen from above, with a laptop on a side desk.

Good Kleo alternatives include Supergrow for a smaller LinkedIn writing bill, Taplio for LinkedIn contact lists, and AuthoredUp for a close read on your own posts, as of September 2026. Kadenza is worth a look if you want to learn from creators on LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube and use your own Claude or ChatGPT to write from that research. The right choice depends on what you need beyond a draft.

We make Kadenza, and we don't think everyone looking for a Kleo alternative should buy it. Start with what you like about your current way of working. You might need a new app, or you might need a clearer topic and a habit you can stick with. Software can help you carry out a plan, but you still need something useful to say to the people you want to reach.

What would you miss about Kleo?

As of September 2026, Kleo includes weekly live group coaching and a private creator community, along with AI writing, graphics and a library of post templates. Its listed price is $99 a month or $999 a year, as of September 2026. If the people around the product are why you keep showing up, count that as part of what you're buying. Replacing the writing screen won't replace that support.

As of September 2026, Kleo supports writing for X as well as LinkedIn, but its scheduling works with LinkedIn. So ask yourself where you actually plan to post next. Wanting to try a new platform is a good reason to review your tools. It doesn't mean you need to move everything at once. The Kadenza and Kleo comparison gives you a closer look at the trade.

Supergrow

As of September 2026, Supergrow starts at $19 a month, or $16 a month billed yearly, and focuses on LinkedIn. Its Content DNA feature uses your voice for writing, and Postcast turns a spoken chat into posts, as of September 2026. It's a good option if you think clearly when you talk and want help turning that thought into something you can publish.

Take an idea from your own work and explain it as though a client had asked you about it. Does that give you a better start than choosing a template? If so, let that guide your choice. You still need to read the draft and add the details that only you know. A writing tool can't decide which parts of your experience you're happy to share in public.

Taplio

As of September 2026, Taplio pairs LinkedIn writing and scheduling with a ranked post library and contact lists drawn from LinkedIn activity or searches. Its Starter plan is listed at $39 a month without AI writing, while Growth adds AI writing at $69 a month, as of September 2026. Look at it if meeting people on LinkedIn is a large part of why you post there.

A contact list and an email list serve different needs. Think about whether you want to start a conversation with someone on LinkedIn or invite readers to ask for a guide and share their email. Be clear about which result matters before you compare products. A screen full of names isn't a business result on its own, and you still need a useful reason to speak to each person.

AuthoredUp

As of September 2026, AuthoredUp offers a LinkedIn editor with formatting and a readability check, plus scheduling and post results that include saves, sends and profile views. Its Individual plan starts at $19.95 a month, or $16.63 a month billed yearly, as of September 2026. It makes sense if you already write your own posts and want to learn more from what you've published.

Before you buy, look at a post you felt good about that got a weak response. What do you wish you knew? If you want to compare it with your other work, a closer view of your own results could help. If you have no idea which subjects to cover in the first place, studying your own history may leave you with the same open question.

Buffer or Metricool

As of September 2026, Buffer offers scheduling across twelve networks and a free plan, with Essentials listed at $5 a month per channel. It's worth considering if you have content ready and want a simple way to plan when it goes out. Write down how many channels you plan to connect so the price you compare reflects the way you'll use it.

As of September 2026, Metricool covers eleven networks and combines scheduling with reports and a shared inbox, with a free plan available. We'd look at it when the work includes several brands or networks. A personal brand and a client account may need different things from the same month of content, so make a sample report part of your buying decision if reporting is your job.

Kadenza

Kadenza brings creator research together with your own content on LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube. You pick the people in your space, see which posts beat their normal results, and give your own AI something real to work from. Your guides also give readers a way to become email leads. That makes it useful when your question is what to make next and how to keep in touch with people who want more.

Kadenza costs $117 a month, or $840 a year at the founding price for the first 50 members, while available. Choose it if you want research and leads in the same place as your calendar, and you're comfortable writing with your own Claude or ChatGPT. If you want a close look at that way of working, read how to use Claude for your personal brand. Keep your key in your AI app's connector settings, never in chat.

Choose around the next post you need to write

Bring the same idea to each option you're weighing. Use a real story from your work and ask what help you need to turn it into a useful post. Maybe you need a better first line. Maybe you need proof that your audience cares about the topic. Write down the missing piece before you look at another price page, so you have a clear reason for your choice.

If you're drawn to a bigger list of platforms, decide whether you want to make content for them yet. Our guide to one platform or all three can help with that decision. You can choose a tool for the work you have now and revisit it when that work changes. A good purchase should make your next step clear, with a bill you can explain to yourself.
